| hi semua.. saya dah pulang dari genting..ada cadangan tentang outing tak? saya cadangkan kita pergi genting nak tak? kalau tak nak tak apa..anyway saya nak tanya, hari ni saya pergi ke tempat batu cave dari kepong lepas tu pulang balik around 14 km, bila berhenti perasan pula apabila berhenti engin, kipas masih bergerak kemudian terus off, air melimpah -limpah keluar dari tempat atas rantai , terus melimpah selama 10 minit dan sedikit cecair hitam kelihatan keluar dari lokasi spoket ,adakah semua zzr macam tu? tanya tauke kedai katenya coolant air ..sebab aprilia lain dari zzr..dia takkkan melimpah.. takut mungkin masalah besar..  |

| Alex....kipas pusing tu biasa...wpun enjin dah off dia still akan pusing...tapi tang dia kencing tu ko kena baut diy skit....buat bleeding...ganti air dan coolant...agaknya dah lama tak ganti.... tanya jimf ...dia slalu hadapi masalah nih...tang minyak tu...dia kluar kat mana ...
Putra...klu kau nak pegi kat zaidi ok gak..dia di puchong jer....lepas tol hicom....cuba tanya zerocool ...dia tahu...sebab dia bikin balik moto kat zaidi...zaidi pun blh tolong ambik moto kat mana...tapi ada charge lar...tapi aku buat ngan dia puas hati lar...walaupun ambik masa sket....blh kaw tim lagi....

Hehe.. Mod zhafrul, maafla pasal kami x sebarkan. CNY open house tu kat umah John. Sebenarnya bukan open house, tp lebih nak melawat dia. Minggu lepas dia accident kat depan library tun razak.
Nasib baik x teruk, luka kat kaki kiri aje bengkak kena balut jugak la. Moto pulak pecah fairing cermin depan dgn belakang sikit.
So..mggu ni nak tolong hanto moto dia kat bengkel la.. Alang2 nak tolong tu dia suruh dtg umah for CNY..
Yg cfmd dtg pun x ramai pasal cuti lik kpg lagipun john bujang duk sorang umah tu. Nti nyusahkan dia pulak hehe..
Tp kalu mod zharful dan darkrider nak ikut melawat esok apa salahnya.. Tggu kat petronas tesco ampang dlm kul 3..

Alex, I think your water pump bocor, like mine, so gotta replace it. Flush radiator n use some coolant, 30% n distilled water (buy from Giant). |

| Alex, water pump I think around RM300 new, can buy in NKS. 2nd hand hard to find, better buy new. Its at the bottom left of the bike, right in front of the gear changer. Seems to describe where your coolant leaks. The radiator is in front of the engine. The top of the radiator is under the right hand handle bar, you need to open 2 screws on the black plastic shroud and see the radiator cap underneath. To clean or top up water you need to refill into the radiator. The coolant spare tank is on the left side of the seat, not under the seat. You only fill slightly half of the tank with water, see the max mark, not to fill full. Remember, fill the radiator full first before filling the coolant spare tank. Better let the otai2 take a look first to confirm.

| Alex, keeping and maintaining a zzr is not as easy as u think. The bike got its character, and it takes time to know it... Me myself is still in the process of adjusting to its temperament.
tell me, did u ride it up to genting? Haha... Anyway, the situation u described is called tendang coolant. Happens to mine too whenever i overwork the bike. So go easy on the throttle. Anyway the fan's working shows dat the thermostat is working just fine.
but as john said, go and flush the radiator first, then fill up with coolant + distilled water, see if ur bike overheat again or not. Wana learn more? Come for tts then! |

| Ya, hehe, remember not to open radiator when hot.  The radiator cap twist anti-clockwise to open. I think we should use the 1.1 cap instead of the 0.9 as water boils at 1.0 and with coolant as anti-boil, it should be up to 1.1 before boiling. So yang guna 0.9 punya cover, lebih baik tukar ke 1.1. |
